I think this is the halo 3 effect...but the plugin is causing HS to lock up on startup...just after it tries to contact the Xbox site. This has been happening since the launch of Halo 3 which I know is causing XBox live a great deal of issues. (shear volumes of users)

Can you find someway of allowing a timeout when starting the connector or moving the connecting code out of HS startup until after HS has fully started.

I have had to disable the plugin for now...but really could do with a fix real soon.

Thanks

Darren

The connection code does run after HS has started. I will take a look and see if maybe I can delay it longer after the HS startup.

Thanks for that...its become a real pain since Halo3...number of connects and disconnects from XBox Live has been unreal. I have been resorting to disabling the plugin by a manual edit of the config file..just to get HS past the startup of the XBox plugin.

I have seen this as well and will eventually take a look at it. I am pretty busy around the house getting things put away for winter
